Re-subscribing a person is when you change their status back to active.
A user can, with the person permission, manually change their status back to active either in Salesforce or Campaign Monitor.
In Salesforce navigate to the person subscriber list membership record and the member detail subscreen. Click on the Email Opt In/Out Status to activate and confirm the prompt.
This article shows how to resubscribe a person in Campaign Monitor.
The import wizard has an option that can be set to resubscribe records that are deleted. This option can be found in Salesforce, on the General Settings Tab. With this option enabled when the import runs it will make any records active, that are contained within the source report or list view that were previously deleted. It does not extend to records that have been unsubscribed.
